WHO ARE THE CHURCHES OF CHRIST?

Please Allow Us To Introduce Our Selves:

1.        We are the New Testament church found in the book of Acts.

2.        We know the Bible to be the inspired word of God, useful to all people, complete and without error. ~ 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21

3.        We know Christ Jesus to be the unique Son of God born of a virgin.           ~ Isa. 7:14; Luke 1:26-35

4.        We know that Jesus the Messiah died for our sins upon the cross and opened the way to salvation for all.~ Isa. 53:5-7; 1 Peter 3:18; Rom. 5:8-9

5.        We know that He was resurrected from the dead and is now at the right hand of God as our King and High priest. ~ 1 Cor. 15:3-8; Heb. 4:14-15

6.        We know that a person must be born again of water and the Spirit to enter the Kingdom of God. ~ John 3:5-7

7.        We know that this new birth takes place at baptism (immersion in water)   where one receives the forgiveness of sins and the in dwelling of the Holy Spirit ~ Acts 2:38; Mark 16:15-16; Romans 6:1-11

8.        We know that baptism is for those who have heard, understand, believe, and are willing to submit to His Lordship. ~ Rom. 10:14-17; Acts 2:36, 40-41

9.        We know that the special gifts of the Holy Spirit ended with the completion and deliverance of the New Testament Scriptures. ~ 1Cor. 12:29-13:13

10.   We know that our Lord Jesus will one day return to claim His own.              ~ 1 Thess. 4:13-18
